A nerdfrontation is when nerds (myself included) get into arguments about particularly nerdy subjects, that for the most part, are completely irrelevant to the vast majority of the populace. For instance, if you have ever had this argument you have been in a nerdfrontation, however if this has happened to you, you have been in an actual confrontation.Even me saying nerdfrontation may cause a nerdfrontation. Because some brethren prefer to be called geeks or some other appellation, or not be classed at all (those are the unclassifiable cool nerds that don't like labels man). But in the end whatever you call yourself you are just as passionate as I am about your chosen hobby (dare I call it that) and are willing to fight (well maybe not fight, but at least leave a well researched comment on a blog or forum) anyone who takes a stance that you disagree with.
Nerdfrontations happen in all genres of pop culture. There are music nerdfrontations, movie nerdfrontations and video game nerdfrontations. But the height of all nerdfrontations takes place in an RPG nerdfrontation. Let me explain; All the other types of genres, movie, film, video games and music are filled with large amounts of people who are not nerds at all, but only in the RPG nerd do we find pure nerdfrontations. Because, lets face it, you have to be a nerd to play RPG's in the first place. Now we might not like to admit to ourselves that we're nerds, we'll say things like "I have a girlfriend" or "I play the guitar, I can't be a nerd". Well you are, and so am I and we need to shut up and be proud because this video gaming techy wonderland world we are living in is a nerds paradise, we have truly inherited the earth.
I am going to be concentrating on RPG nerdfrontations that are going on in the RPG Blogosphere. I hope to offer the best nerdfrontations by the most insightful people in the RPG community. I will strive to be objective and work as a voice of reason, and depending on the absurdity level and ridiculousness of the fight I will try to poke as little fun at the parties involved as possible.
We are the few, the proud, the nerdy and our voices will be heard.

Thanks for commenting at Rule of the Dice. If you start a flame war or a massive nerdfrontation in the comments I will send a henchman to your house and have them steal all your stuff and sell it to pirates... real pirates, not the fake internet downloading type. You have been warned.
