I'm somewhere in between. I actually didn't start on AD&D 2nd Edition like most of my friends did, I started with 1st edition Shadowrun and Battletech. I remember my brother, my cousin, and I playing Shadowrun. I ran the game, and all three of us played three characters each. I don't know how in the world we did it, or why we did it, but dang it was fun! And to me, that is definitely old school.
